Lot Essay

Powder blue knit jersey retains its original red, white, and blue tackle twill "M" team name on front with number "14" in red. Back has "Rose" and "14" in matching red tackle twill. Rawlings manfacturer's label inside collar with size 44 indicator as well as "14 84" chain stitched strip tag inside tail area along with "X" in black marker. The shirt shows light use and wash wear most notably in the form of 'puckering' to the manufacturer's label. Jersey is all original and presents with some slightly varied tagging then typical team issued examples as Rose was documented to have ordered additional shirts for use both in Philadelphia and Montreal. Rose's brief stint with the Expos included becoming just the second player in history to reach the 4,000th career base hit mark which was collected on the road wearing this identical style jersey. Includes LOA from SGC/Grob (EX-EX/MT) and Pete Rose autographed 8"x10" photo
