Arabic manuscript on paper, 304ff., plus four flyleaves, 15ll. of black naskh, diacritics in red, within gold, red and black rules, gold and polychrome roundel verse markers, catchwords, sura headings in white thuluth on gold panels with polychrome floral illumination, gold and polychrome marginal medallions, the opening bifolio illuminated in gold and polychrome framing 5ll. in clouds reserved against gold ground, the colophon with gold and polychrome floral illumination within gold floral margins, signed Ahmad Zarifi student of Salih Shukri and dated, followed by prayers within illuminated cartouches, in brown morocco with gilt floral decoration with flap, red doublures decorated with gold floral lattice, overall good condition
