A German engraved goblet
probably Lauenstein, the bowl engraved with a mother holding a chamberstick by her sleeping baby below drapery swags within a roundel issuing scrolls between flowerheads and leaves below the inscription wan mans beÿm licht betracht so hats die lieb gemacht, the solid lower section with air inclusions, on a flattened knop and inverted baluster stem supported by a domed and folded foot -- 20.2cm. high, mid 18th century (crizzling to bowl and foot)
