A warrant with an embossed seal, signed at the head: "Anne R," from Windsor Court, 27th day of October 1712, folio, to John, Duke of Montagu Master of the Great Wardrobe: "Our Will and Pleasure is that you Provide forthwith or cause to be provided and made up, for our Right Trusty and Right Entirely beloved Cosin, Henry Duke of Kent ... one large mantle of Blew velvet lin'd with white taffata, with an Escocheon of St. Georges Crosse embroidered and encompassed with a Garter placed on the left shoulder ... as also a Surcoat of Crimson velvet, and hood of the same" (browned, some marginal tears on folds).
