A one-page document on paper headed: "Bonaparte I. Consul de la République" with a central engraved vignette depicting Liberty, dated: "Paris, le 19 thermidor au 10 de la République Francaise" [19th July 1802], 4°, to the Ministre de la Guerre, 5 lines in French in a secretarial hand, signed: "Bonaparte," giving orders for the embarkation of the third battalion from Ostende or Auverne for Martinique (some light spotting and browning, creased on folds).
