Campanario, Boal 1933
Madeira
Bottled in 2015, new wax capsules with 'A Madeira' seal, two damaged. Stencilled bottles
From the year that prohibition finally ended after 13 years.
Tasting note: Intense nose of leather, old wood aroma’s with a touch of sweet plums on the back. With some air more aroma’s emerged, the wine was opening up nicely. A fresh vinous taste, fine apricots over an elegant citrus acidity. There is an attractive liveliness in the taste with a lemony finish. Softly sweet. A pretty Boal. October 2020. Edwin Vos
