Lot Essay

Reference 2551 was produced in the 50’s and equipped with the 12 600 movement. Approximately 1300-1400 examples have been produced in all precious metals, and platinum such as the present example is the rarest one. It is believed that only 15 were made in platinum.
Ref.2551 is illustrated in the ‘Blue Book 2’, 2019 edition by Eric Tortella, page 150-153
