Lot Essay

This purple ESP 400 Series played an integral part in Madonna's Dress You Up [from Like a Virgin, released in 1984]. Said Rodgers: "This is probably what I played the solo on Dress You Up, the Madonna song. Because you can hear me...use the whammy bar. That would definitely be the solo guitar." In addition, this was the guitar Rodgers used for the song Invitation to Dance [released in 1985], sung by Kim Carnes for a movie of the same name.
