Christie’s staff are not vehicle specialists and it is the ultimate responsibility of the buyer to carry out any inspection(s) as the Buyer thinks necessary before bidding. The Buyer is fully responsible for inspections and verification of the condition and completeness of the motor car purchased. Please contact the Decorative Arts Department at 212-636-2236 to arrange an appointment to visually inspect the car.
Removal of Purchased Motor Car. The Buyer must remove this lot from a third-party off-site storage facility within thirty (30) days following the auction. The Buyer is responsible for all removal and shipping arrangements and related risks and liabilities. If the lot in not removed within thirty (30) days following the auction, the Buyer will be charged a monthly storage fee of $375 (USD) until the lot is collected. Please note that the Buyer is required to insure the lot at any time after the thirty (30) days following the auction.

Lot Essay

This 2007 Ford Mustang Convertible was purchased new by Nile Rodgers and has been sparingly used, with under 3,000 miles at the time of cataloguing. It is finished in a stunning orange color and equipped with a 5-speed manual gearbox. Rodgers notes that some modifications were carried out to improve the performance of the car.
