CHINE, DYNASTIE MING, XVEME-XVIEME SIECLE
Réalisée à l'imitation du jade, elle repose sur un pied hexagonal et est munie de deux anses découpées en forme de dragon aux yeux incisés. La panse facetée est décorée à l'extérieur de caractères shou incisés. Le verre translucide est d'une teinte vert pâle et présente d'anciennes traces de dépôt de matière.

An imitation jade glass cup with animal-head handles in the Ina and Sandford Gadient Collection is illustrated in Treasures of Chinese Glass Work Shops, Asiantiques, Florida, 1997, p21, no.6.
