of moulded circular form, on shell and foliate feet and with a foliate and shell-capped squat rising curved spout, scroll handle and domed hinged cover with circular finial, each side of the body chased with flowers and foliage incorporating C and S-scroll cartouches, one engraved with a crest, William Bateman, London 1837 - 5¼in. (13.25cm.), 18.25oz.
