A Victorian three-light candelabrum
on a scroll-moulded rising trefoil base with three vacant cartouches, the shell and scroll baluster stem enhanced with grotesque masks with quatrefoil drops, with scrolling foliate branches and flute and foliate-decorated moulded circular sockets, the centre with non-matching metal portion with grenade finial, E.& J. Barnard, London 1864, the base also struck with import marks - 20½in. (52cm.) overall, weight excluding unmarked detachable section 87oz.
