This model was derived from a slightly earlier model made at Nymphenburg by Franz Anton Bustelli in about 1756. Another example of Laurentius Russinger’s Höchst group is illustrated by Horst Reber, chster Porzellan aus drei Jahrhunderten, 1988, p. 63, and examples of the Nymphenburg models are illustrated by C.H. Beck, Bustelli, Nymphenburger Porzellanfiguren des Rokoko, Munich, 2004, pp. 208-209, nos. 97 and 98.
