A George III Scottish Provincial teapot
of oval form and with beaded borders, tapering angular spout, wood scroll handle and domed hinged cover with oval wood finial, each side with a bright-cut oval cartouche with bow surmount, one engraved with a crest, the other with a monogram, John Leslie, Aberdeen circa 1785 - 5½in. (14cm.), 19.25oz. gross.
