JINGDEZHEN KILNS, SIGNED CHEN GUOZHI, 1820-1860
The bottle is molded and carved on one side with a boy riding a buffalo and playing a flute beneath a budding willow tree. The reverse is molded and carved with an inscription describing the scene.
2 1⁄8 in. (5.3 cm.) high, pink tourmaline stopper

The inscription can be translated as, "With this short flute producing hardly a tune, blowing and humming randomly I pass the dune."
