These slides were taken underground at NCB mines including Markham Main, Parkside, Brodsworth, Bilston Glen, Monkton Hall and elsewhere from 1968 into the 1970s. They were shown at the Earls Court Mining World Exhibition. They are the only set in existence and represent a unique viewing of British mining activity.
