Please note the title for this lot is ‘Modesto’s Stack S1’. Furthermore, it is marked ‘Artworks Foundry’, numbered ‘1/5’ to the base. While the design is from 1981, this bronze was cast in 1986 as an edition 1 of 5. The artist produced a further two bronzes in this edition along with several artist’s proofs at a later date. The catalogue project number for this lot is CR451.S1-1/5-B.

The present lot is was designed in 1981 and cast in 1986 as S1-1/5. This was originally created as an edition of five, however, the artist created two more bronzes of this edition, making this an edition of seven along with several artist's proofs. The foundry for this work is Artworks Foundry in Berkeley, California.

The catalogue project number for this lot is CR451.S1-1/5-B.
