(14cm) overall; and a gilt bronze bust of a French infantryman, shown with shako and epaulettes, signed Leo Laporte-Blairsy, mounted on a rectangular marmo verde antico plinth, French, late 19th/early 20th century -- 6½in. Lot Essay

Laporte-Blairsy or Blaisin, Leon M.V. (1865-1923). Best known for his Art Nouveau lamp stands. Exhibited at the Salon des Artistes Francais from 1881 until his death.
