Photoplay edition, first thus, featuring Boris Karloff as Frankenstein on both the jacket cover and frontispiece. The cover art by Nathan Machtey is truly fabulous.
Octavo. Illustrated from photographs of Carl Laemmle's film version, including frontispiece. Original red cloth lettered in black, color pictorial dust jacket by Machtey, printed on verso with advertisements (minor wear to edges and folds including a few small chips, a little flaking to spine panel slightly touching lettering).
