WILDE, OSCAR -- The Great West-End Scandal. Oscar Wilde Exposed. Unnatural Offences. Startling Revelations. Full and Special Details. London: s.n. [April 1895].

A lurid penny pamphlet on the Oscar Wilde trial—an extremely rare piece of Wildean ephemera in remarkably fine condition. Reprinted from Reynold's Newspaper, this account went much further than others in including salacious details from the testimony at Wilde's indecency trial. The only copy we can trace at auction appeared at Christie's London, 13 December 1962; it is not recorded by ABPC or RBH. Not in Mason. See Wilde and the Nineties, An Essay and an Exhibition (Princeton 1966), p. 60.

Quarto (255 x 194mm). 8pp., two bifolia folded. Custom chemise and box.
