Complete set of the Pooh books as signed limited editions, all fine and in fine dust jackets. Printed on handmade paper. The size of the limited editions grew along with the popularity of the Pooh books. When We Were Very Young was published in an edition of only 100 copies; it was increased to 200 for Winnie-the-Pooh, and 350 copies each for the final two books. It is extremely difficult to find a set of all four in uniformly fine condition. This is a splendid complete set.
Four volumes, quarto. Half-titles. Illustrations by E.H. Shepard. Publisher's ad for When We Were Very Young Song Book laid in. Partially unopened. Original quarter cloth; printed dust jackets (only modest edge-wear, some sunning to spine panels and folds). Custom quarter morocco box.
