Domaine Ponsot, Morey Saint Denis Monts-Luisants Blanc 1989
1er Cru, Côte de Nuits
Tasting note: A blend of 80% Aligote, 15% Chardonnay and 5% Pinot Blanc. Fine nose of buttery aromas, touch smokey, rich from the sun ripened fruits of this vintage. Broad taste, waxy fruit aromas with a follow through of fine acidity. On the finish, a nice bitter note appears. There is strong intensity here. All in very good form. Beautiful in its waxy intensity. Tasted during the jubilee tasting at the Domaine in June 2022. Edwin Vos
