A gilt metal mounted Sèvres style oviform vase
painted with a continuous scene of a seated maiden wearing robes holding a basket of grapes, attended by two putti climbing a tree, the reverse with a classical ruin before a bay, between dark green ground sections gilt with raised anthemion, aplied with richly gilt handles with lion's head terminals, with a gilt metal beaded stem above a domed foot with metal rim and feet cast with leaves, incised Sèvres marks for 1849 -- 41cm. high, 19th century (some wear to gilt)
