The pendant is carved in the form of a dragon with a coiled C-shaped body, the inner curve reticulated with a small chilong.

Compare to a white jade C-shaped dragon pendant with more simplistic carvings, unearthed from a Han dynasty tomb in Sanjiaowei in Anhui province, illustrated in Jade in Han Dynasty, Beijing, 2014, p. 74 (fig. 1).
