The belt hook has two conjoined curved shafts terminating in two dragon heads at the bottom and a single dragon head at the top.

Lot Essay

Compare to a very similar conjoined ‘dragon’ belt hook unearthed from an early Western Han tomb belonging to King Chu in Shizishan, Xuzhou city, illustrated in Jade Articles from Tombs of Seigniors of Han Dynasty in Xuzhou City, Beijing, 2016, p. 28 (fig. 1).
