3520 was launched in 1965 and at the time was advertised by Patek Philippe was advertised by Patek Philippe as the flattest waterproof watch in the world. 3520 D was introduced in 1968 and was discontinued in 2008. The Letter “D” refer to the hobnail bezel “Clou de Paris”
