AN IRON-RED-DECORATED AND GREEN-ENAMELLED DEEP BOWL
KANGXI PERIOD (1662-1722)
The bowl is decorated on the exterior with a fearsome mythical beast and a ferocious eagle in flight. The interior is decorated in famille verte with a floral spray border below the mouth rim, and the base is inscribed with an apocryphal six-character Xuande mark.
