A LARGE PALE CELADON JADE CARVING OF SHOULAO
KANGXI PERIOD (1662-1722)
The stone is carved in the round as a figure of Shoulao with hands clasped beneath draped sleeves pierced to hold an attribute. The sleeves are finely incised with cloud-scroll motifs. The stone is of a pale celadon tone with some russet and white inclusions.
9 1/4 in. (23.5 cm.) high, box
