Further details
Lytton Springs
In the Dry Creek Valley of Sonoma County are 100 year old Zinfandel vines. Ridge harvest from the Lytton Springs vineyard here, which is interplanted with Petite Sirah, Carignane, Mataro (Mourvèdre), and Grenache. Clay retains moisture to make for powerful, blackberry and boysenberry ripe wines. Foggy mornings are eclipsed by warm, sunny afternoons and breezy late evenings, which makes for an ideal balance of acidity and concentration. The first vintage was 1972.
