most with wood handles, comprising: a William Gambles registered 1886 Excelsior lever corkscrew, helix short; a turned brass shank corkscrew with double acorn handle, brush, spike missing, marked on the radially incised button J. Rogers & Sons Shefffield, helix slightly compressed; a corkscrew with speedworm; and five further corkscrews including an example with horn handle and spike, all with names. (8)
