La plaque rectangulaire est sculptée profondément en relief de deux lettrés jouant au go assis autour d'une table derrière laquelle se trouve Shoulao debout. Ils sont représentés dans un paysage rocheux sous un large pin à gauche duquel se trouve une grue. La plaque repose sur un socle imposant à quatre pieds en stéatite imitant des branches noueuses au centre abritant en leur centre un disque d'agate.
