A Victorian three-piece tea service with matching William IV coffee pot,
each of melon-fluted moulded circular form and on shell and C-scroll feet, with moulded rims, foliate and berry-decorated scroll handles and chased friezes of flowers and foliage, the teapot and coffee pot with chased leaf-capped rising curved spouts and fluted domed hinged covers with flower finials, the three-piece tea service maker's initials W.S., London 1864, each piece engraved with a retailer's name: "A.B. Savory & Son, London", the coffee pot Messrs. Barnard, London 1837 - height of coffee pot 9in. (22.75cm.), 71.50oz.
