An unusual silver-mounted mirror plateau
of oblong form and with acanthus leaf corners, the bombe sides with applied bow, foliate and fruit swags, the bevelled glass with a narrow mount decorated with a frieze of foliage, the front fitted with a drawer applied with a vacant scrolling foliate cartouche and with two fluted baluster handles, maker's initials V.& S., Birmingham 1913 - 25in. (63.50cm.)
