A Regency silver-gilt fruit basket
of tapering circular form and on foliate feet with a frieze of laurel leaves and berries above, the simulated wickerwork body applied with a frieze of vines and with egg and dart border, the centre engraved with an armorial, crest and motto and: "From the Marchioness of Sligo", the underside inset with a wooden base, J.W. Story & William Elliott, London 1810 - 9¾in. (25cm.), 52.25oz. gross.
