Comprising five rectangular sections and a pair of D-end sections, all inset with mirrored-bases, on replaced lion's paw feet
5 1/2 in. (14 cm.) high; 25 1/2 in. (65 cm.) wide; 136 in. (345.5 cm.) long

Almost certainly John Russell, 6th Duke of Bedford (d. 1838).

Please note that this surtout-de-table was sold from the collection of the Dukes of Bedford, Woburn Abbey, Christie's, London 20-21 September 2004, lot 331. At that time there were five central sections, the semi-circular end sections were incomplete and in fragmentary condition and were subsequently reconstructed with various missing parts recast.
