Compare the Ding covered jar of very similar form, also decorated with pairs of incised lines, found in 1969 in the underground foundation vault of the Jingzhongyuan Pagoda, dated to AD 995, in Dingzhou city, Hebei province, illustrated in Zhongguo chutu ciqi quanji (Complete Collection of Ceramic Art Unearthed in China), vol. 3, Hebei, Beijing, 2008, p. 113, no. 113.
