A Hellenistic terracotta theatre mask for Pan
the bearded face with modelled features including pointed ears and short pair of horns, wearing wreath of laurel branches around his head, the pierced deeply socketed eyes with furrowed brow above, remains of pink painted decoration and black outlines to features, pierced for attachment above and at either side, repaired -- 10in. (25.4cm.) high, 4th-2nd Century B.C.
