A Persian lacquered rectangular mirror case
painted to the exterior with a bird and butterfly amongst rosebuds, the interior with ladies bathing in a palace interir, an attendant carrying an urn of water -- 8½in. x 5½in. (21.5cm x 14cm), signed Ya Sahabe Zaman and dated 1226, (cracks and chips to lacquer, mirror cracked.
