of circular form on tublar shaft, engraved with a central interlacing roundel surrounded by three bands of calligraphic cartouches alternating with cusped palmette roundels -- 12¾.in (32.5cm) high, 15th Century, (slight loss of inlay, handle reattached to lower section with slight loss).
