Lot Essay

Ce buste est une reprise de l'antique Agrippine conservée au musée national Archéologique de Naples (inv. 13650). Il reprend notamment la même cassure au nez que son modèle napolitain.

This bust is an almost exact copy of the antique Agrippina now in the National Archaeological Museum of Naples (inv. 13650). It has the same break to the nose as the original.
