En forme de feuille de lotus reposant sur des petites tiges terminées par de délicats boutons de lotus en relief, elle est ornée au centre d'une fleur de lotus à l'or et rouge-de-fer contre un fond imitant du feuillage.

Lot Essay

Compare this unusual shape with a washer in the shape of lotus leaf in longquan celadon glaze illustrated in Kangxi, Yongzheng, Qianlong, Qing Porcelain from the Palace Museum, 1989, cat. no. 137 and the shape is also known in turquoise glaze, one version is illustrated in John Ayers, Chinese and Japanese Works of Art in the Collection of her Majesty the Queen, London, 2016, volume II, cat. no. 1435.
