LATE QING DYNASTY-REPUBLIC PERIOD
The back of the figure is impressed with a double-gourd mark reading Dehua, and a square seal mark reading Xu Yunlin zhi (made by Xu Yunlin).

The two seals Xu Yunlin Zhi, which appear on the back of the present figure, refer to the potter Xu Youyi (1887-1949). For a discussion of Xu Youyi see lot 1116.
