Lot Essay

Slazak built by Hawthorn Leslie as H.M.S. Bedale, 1,050 tons, 246' x 31½' launched 23.7.1941; lent to the Polish Navy in April 1942 and renamed Slazak; reverted to Bedale in 1946; sold to the Indian Navy as Godaveri in 1953 and disposed of (broken up?) in 1979.
