A fine live steam pressure paraffin fired model of the S.Y. 'Duchess' with mast and navigation light, fairleads, bollards, ventilators, companionway with sliding hatch and opening doors, deck rails, companionways, panelled bridge with helm and telegraph, glazed aft saloon with curtains and opening lights, lagged cockpit with slatted seats and concealed tiller. The flush riveted plated hull is fitted with riveted copper dry back boiler with normal fittings and lagged steam line to three cylinder single acting engine with gear and eccentric driven valves, displacement lubricator, disc flywheel and single shaft and three blade propellor and rudder. Additional details include steam operated single cylinder feed pump with plug valve, displacement lubricator and by-pass, lagged steam line and valves, both engines exhausting into an oil separator, hand feed pump and spirit tank and burner.
