Lot Essay

Josephine Whitehorn (née Plummer) was a producer for BBC Children's Hour in the late 1940s to mid-1950s. She was introduced to Lewis by E.W.F. Tomlin, the philosopher who also wrote a booklet on Lewis for the British Council and edited an Anthology of his prose.

We are very grateful to Professor Paul Edwards for his assistance in preparing this catalogue entry.
