Lot Essay

This cabinet and hat chest is unadorned featuring the beautiful wood grain with the exception of the curvilinear apron with coiled tendrils and quatrefoil metal mounts as the hinges and lock plats. The relatively small size makes this cabinet ideal for contemporary homes with low ceilings.

Please note this lot incorporate material from endangered species which could result in export restrictions. You should check the relevant customs laws and regulations before bidding on this lot if you plan to import the lot into another country. Please refer to Christie’s Conditions of Sale.
