A BASEBALL PLAYER

One of the largest baseball related bronze sculptures known from the late 19th and early 20th century periods in the form of a baseball fielder reaching to catch the incoming ball. Sculpture shows the player in button down high collar uniform wearing baseman's mitt glove with textured base mimicking field of play. Some mild toning from age to the patination is present with overall visual appeal rating very fine. Impressive and uncommon: EX
