Lanson Vintage Collection 1975
Reims
Disgorged in June 2022. In individual original presentation cases
Tasting note: Disgorged on 28 June 2022 with dosage of 3 g/l and pressure at 1.06. A blend of 52% Pinot and 48% Chardonnay from Avise, Cramant, Oger & Choiully. Explosive aromatics with rich honey and toasted brioche with dried apricots pineapple, ginger and mango and subtle nuances of truffle and mocha - very complex and refined and with time in glass developed more of the mocha and coffee and even liquorice and toasted hazelnuts. Delicate fine mousse with vibrant acidity and intense citrus flavours. Linear and long with a great silky texture and a pleasant bitter Seville orange nuance on the finish. Excellent - a harmonious and mouth-watering Champagne. Tim Triptree MW, April 2023
