the anglaise style case with draped top, decorated with panels of foliate enamel, engraved angles, with transfer painted porcelain panels depicting a woman with a scythe to the sides (one chipped), the white enamel Roman dial with trefoil hands and spade alarm hand, subsidiary seconds ring below, replaced platform escapement, with strike/repeat on bell and alarm on further bell, circa 1900 -- 6¼in. (16cm.) high
