Tasting note: Intriguing high-toned nose. Slight spirity with straw and concentrated aromas from the extended canteiro aging. The taste first shows a rich mouthfeel, unctuous with fine long acidity in the back. Serious buildup of aromas, malmsey style intensity, with a beautiful unfolding intensity of rich apricot fruits on the finish. This is impressive. Very good. 94 points. September 2023. EV
